From The Principal

Thank you for the warm welcome and it's been my pleasure getting to know the students and staff.  I'm impressed with the welcoming and friendly atmosphere :).   Please take a few moments to read the December newsletter as it's full of important information.

Keep in mind the following events on one of the busiest months of the year:

Student Council December Events

Candy Gram sale: December 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 10th! .75 each or $1.00 for 2.  All proceeds will used for a family in need.

Sprit days for December:

Monday: Bully free

Tuesday: Browning Day

Wednesday: Red Day

Thursday: Holiday

Our Canned Food Drive and Toys for Tots donations are still going on until December 12th. 

Holidance is December 11th from 6:30 - 8:00. Please join us for a family evening of Holiday dancing.

Teamwork is an essential part of a successful learning environment. Student success is the focus of the learning process. Effective teaching inspires, motivates, and engages students. The Browning community is moving forward together as lifelong learners.

Career Focus Luncheon

The 24th Career Focus Luncheon for all district sixth graders will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 3 and May 4, 2017 at the Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township.  The annual event is sponsored by the Utica Community Schools Foundation.

Parents are invited to sponsor a table and share their career and college experience.  For more information, please visit the Foundation’s website at or call 586.797.6953. The UCS Foundation for Educational Excellent is an independent 501(c)(3) organization comprised of community volunteers. 

Utica Community Schools is Michigan's second largest school district.   

Student achievement in the district outpaces all county, state and national averages. The district's graduation rate is 12 points higher than the state average and students and staff are regularly honored for excellence.
